Architectural firm has designs on top awards
Burnley-based design practice Hussain Architectural Design Ltd have been short-listed for two national awards.
The company is a finalist in the 2015 British Muslim Awards which will be held at the Chateau Impney Hotel, West Midlands.
And their director Saira Hussain has been shortlisted as a finalist in the design category at the 2015 Duke of Gloucester Construction Youth Trust Awards, which will be held in London.
Hussain Architectural Design Ltd designs and builds residential and commercial buildings along with other design and branding work.
They were selected from among hundreds of rival nominees across the country to become one of the five finalists in the prestigious creative and technology design category.
Saira Hussain has worked on projects based in Media City Manchester, Spinningfields, Hackney Wick in London and recently the Aroma Shisha lounge which is ‘the biggest shisha lounge in London.’
Saira, reacting to her nomination, said: “I really did not expect this and am absolutely thrilled, thank you to Charles Cox at Huddersfield University for nominating me.”
And on the company nomination, she said: “It’s fantastic to be selected for an award highlighting our achievements in both creativity and technology.”
