Wall could shut-out Brierfield garage vandals
A TWO-metre high wall could be built to protect a block of garages that have been plagued by vandalism.
The Park Lane garage site, in Brierfield, has nine garages which have suffered from acts of vandalism and break-ins, which has forced residents to act.
The garage owners have now submitted a planning application to Pendle Council for the work to be carried out.
Saira Hussain, from Hussain Architectural Design, said: “The main reason of need for this proposal is to protect the garages from vandalism which has occurred several times in the past, including the garages being broken into.
